I haven’t written anything here since the beginning of summer. if you are one of those who like to read my blog, I apologize for my absence. and also, I apologize for not having any good reason or any good stories to tell of what I’ve been doing instead. I’ve just been working, mostly. Feel like I’ve been sleepwalking for months now.

This Week’s Whale Wars episode…

…was a good episode. I know “good” doesn’t even begin to explain how the episode really was. It’s just something you have to see for yourself.

One thing I will say though, I am glad that if there was ever any doubt that the Japanese Whalers deliberately rammed Ady Gil, that doubt should be 100 % GONE after this episode. The Sea Shepherds are NOT even remotly at fault for the Ady Gil “accident”. The Shonan Mary #2 captain had every intention of ramming the Ady Gil.

Case closed !

If I have any steady readers at all, then I just want to apologize for my lack of blogging lately. May and June in general are always crazy months in my life.

Im writing to you from Paris at the moment. Arrived yesterday to a BLAZING heat, and spent the night meeting Mia and Meredith again for the first time since Miami and Newcastle. Three American guys are also here with us, one a friend of Mias, and the other two friends of him. Suvi whom I met one day, when studying in the Toon also arrived in Paris yesterday. The evening was spent eating at a really crappy French restaurant, and then getting a little tipsy in the boys hotel room afterwards, drinking wine straight from the bottle.

Today we went to the Louvre. It was very warm and crowded, but the outside area of the louvre, by the pyramides, was insanely pretty. Had lunch in the park right by the museum.

right now we#re back at the hostel. Mia and Suvi are watching the game between Argentina and Germany, and Im about to head out to a nearby boutique to have alittle looksy

promise to be back for good when fall comes around. My life is likely to be far less exciting then

The animal Planet camera crew is back on the “high seas” with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, following them for three months on their Waltzing Matilda campaign against Japanese whalers in the Souther Ocean.

My tv is ready. Whale Wars Season 3 starts June 4th on Animal Planet.

I <3 the Island in the Spring

Im at home. on the island. its springtime. the sun is out. birds are singing, and so am I.

Yesterday was may 17 (Norway day), and I ate ice cream and cake.

Tomorrow is back to work, but I wont think about that yet. Cause the sun is shining. And the shining sun is making me happy.

it was a long winter.

I love being on the island when the sun is out. Its the most beautiful place on earth

Volcanoes and stuff

I have been AWOL-ing it a bit lately, as I have been totally swamped at worked, and when not at work all I want to do is play around with Farmville and sleep.

Reason why the past week has been a true nightmare:

Yup, its that lovely volcano in Iceland thats been sending its ashes around, creating near-chaos all over Europe.

I work at an airport hotel, close to a central Norwegian airport. You would think that with all planes and helicopters cancelled, we would have nothing to do.
I wish…

Its been BUSY. insane, even. 3 out of 4 of all the busy/crazy days I’ve had at that hotel, have occured within the past week. I work alone this weekend, so I’m sending my wish out there to ask that volcano to take a rest until the weekend is over and done with. Wish granted ? please ?

As for my new, healthy lifestyle, its been going okay. I struggled the most the first week, because people kept giving me cakes and stuff (!). But I worked out extra, and think I managed to cancel out the cake that way

This week I’ve been to the gym twice, and work is so busy that eating is not a priority. Coffee is what keeps me going. And when I do eat I stay mostly healthy. Green apples, bananas and soup.

Also, I went to a thing with all my relatives on my dads side of the family last weekend. I think there was around 90 – 100 people there. It was nice enough. Got to catch up a little with some cousins, and my second cousins/childhood best friends <3 there was also cake

now I’m planning to do my dishes, cook dinner, watch some mtv, take a shower and then I am off to bed. Sleep

How Coffee SHOULD be served

COFFEE = LIQUID BLISS

I love coffee. I might be an addict. But I could be addicted to far worse, Im sure.

I love sitting down with a cup of coffee. Taking moments out of my day to drink down some energy and some liquid bliss with a dash of milk.

But somethimes, life gets busy. And you think about that cup of coffee that you so desperately want. You can almost smell it, but you dont have time to get any closer.

And that is when you wish, that life could be like this:
